About the Forum

The Cutting-Edge Transporter Research Forum in Tokyo aims to bring together leading scientists from academia and industry to advance the understanding of drug transporters and their impact on pharmacokinetics, drug–drug interactions (DDIs), and drug development.

This forum will provide a unique platform to discuss recent breakthroughs ranging from fundamental transporter biology to translational applications, including PBPK modeling, endogenous biomarkers, and in vitro–in vivo extrapolation.

Through plenary and keynote lectures, as well as interactive discussions, the forum will address key challenges such as bridging in vitro–in vivo gaps, understanding transporter-mediated variability in special populations, and improving prediction of clinical outcomes.
