GenoMembrane, Inc. relaunched the following product in January 2008.

The new product has more than twice the transport activity of previous lots of MRP8.

Human MRP8 Vesicles, which are suitable for vesicular transport assay, are prepared from purified plasma membranes isolated from an insect cell system (Sf9 cells transfected with baculovirus) expressing human MRP8.  The transport activity of MRP8 for test compounds can be evaluated by determining the amounts of the compounds incorporated into the vesicles.

A protocol for vesicular transport assay with Human MRP8 Vesicles in a 96-well plate format is available, and is suitable for high-throughput screening.
